Fourthcoming. . .

Let’s be all the way real….If it were up to me, this blog simply wouldn’t be happening lol, but for real though. When the notion initially dropped in my spirit, I thought to myself, none of my previous experiences equate to a blog, which puts people in my business. I’m not a writer, and how does this even make sense!? I wrestled with what God was constantly placing on my radar.

I eventually ………………………..answered the call.

Because in hindsight, when I put more thought into it, I’ve been journaling since I was a little girl, the motivating conversations that I CONSTANTLY have with friends, and honestly with myself -God said, those words gotta live somewhere, boo. After giving it more thought, I understand that my identity isn’t rooted in what I do, not even a little bit. So I finally gave in….

/fôrTHˈkəmiNG - planned for or about to happen in the near future.

I started to lean inward again. Do you know how pastors will provide a word at the beginning of the year? Typically, that word is provision for the year…..Well, for me, a phrase usually comes to mind. I’ve been leaning on Back to the Basics as my north star this year. That is how I’m honoring this version of me, by simply getting back to the root of what brings me joy, alignment, and peace✨ .

This blog started as a seed planted, and I began watering it in February 2024 on my website www.narkieopong.com. A couple of months ago, I decided to create a Substack to exercise the use of another platform (& I was already subscribed to a couple blogs on here), so my hope was that it would come across those who needed it. The goal/ my ultimate purpose of this is to share my life’s experience and the purposeful direction God has led me to — and is leading me through. It’s also to hold readers accountable by reminding us all that we have a purpose here on Earth, and it’s essential to explore what that looks like to land where we’re supposed to be.
